It's official. Zach hates me.

I'm having a really hard time with this one. I never experienced this with Alexandria. She's always loved Mommy. Zach, though, he's definitely turning into Daddy's Little Boy. It's making it really hard for me not to resent having to work. And not resent Jean-Paul for getting to stay home with the kids....

It started last weekend at Tom and Carrol's (Jean-Paul's uncle and aunt). They had a Yovanoff reunion. Zach did not want to hang out with Mommy. He'd squirm and wriggle until he got off my lap and would do a bee-line for Daddy. He was perfectly calm and content with Daddy....

Then this week, it's happened a couple times, where we're trying to Zachary to bed. He'll cry after a minute in his crib, I go up to try to calm him and get him back down and he screams like he's being tortured...... Then Jean-Paul comes along, Zach reaches out for him, goes to him and calms immediately. It's tough to take.

I guess it's only fair, since Alex did this to Jean-Paul. It breaks my heart. And I can't help out Jean-Paul, either. He's having to do the bedtime thing on his own....

Why we need to get rich and hire a chauffeur for Alex...

Kids Just Wanna Have Fun

And they did! So did we. Ontario Place was fun. Unnecessarily spread out between attractions, but fun. We saw Toopy and Binoo, Dinosaurs of Patagonia (Zach's comment "di-saur, rawr!"), rode on some spinning cars, watched our Monkey crash a pink cadillac, played and played and played at Soak City. Even when 7pm rolled around, she still wanted to do more, "But I didn't go on all the rides yet!"

When it started to get crowded at the fence, Alexandria and the boy in blue starting pushing each other a bit. His Dad yelled out, "Alex!" and they both turned around and stopped.
