Every single day they amaze me

Zach had a bit of a tumble outside today and has band-aids on his wrists and big toe. After this little incident, I put on Dora so the two of us could cuddle and watch a bit of tv. Dora needs 'our help' to tell Diego and Boots to jump over a rather large egg that is rolling down a hill toward them. We need to yell 'salta'. I said to Zach, "That sounds like Santa!" To which he replied, "No, Mommy. It's salta. Salt has an 'L'..."

How do they pick this stuff up? He just turned three in April and he's picking out sounds in the middle of words - and correcting Mommy's pronunciation. :)
